Welcome Sisters in Christ

The Presbyterian Women of Philadelphia (PWPP) is an inclusive group of caring women supporting our local congregations, care closets and missions. We strive to fulfilling the purpose of all Presbyterian Women: Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to:

nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study,
support the mission of the church worldwide,
work for justice and peace, and
build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and witnesses to the promise of God’s kingdom.

We Meet Several Times a Year as a Group!

The Spring Gathering is held in April or May when we install the officers for the Coordinating Team (CT).

The Fall Gathering in October is a celebration of Thanks and Gratefulness.

The Christmas Mission Luncheon is the first Saturday in December at the Oxford Presbyterian Church. We celebrate the Advent Season and dedicate our Mission Pledge Forms (Gold Sheet) in order to plan for the upcoming year.
